At Cocoloco we receive many requests from students about our business to help case study assignments and provide examples on business structure and strategy. As a result, we have
dedicated this part of the website to all the students we can’t reach, to improve the information that we can provide to students through this site.
Cocoloco is an events/promotion company and through tougher understanding of the needs of the consumer (party goer) our aim is to tailor exclusive club nights for the financial benefit of
the client.
Cocoloco's vision is to be a nationally recognised club brand, establishing itself as a prestigious brand among stakeholders. Greatly influenced by philosophies of Human Resource
Management and Total Quality Management. Cocoloco combines this with developing rich market knowledge to capitalize on the experience economy and deliver great services to clients, in
turn maximizing shareholder wealth and adding value to stakeholders.
Cocoloco is living proof that a business can be started with no investment, just bright ideas and determination, combined with sensible planning and huge personal sacrifice. The company
was originally set up by a Bournemouth final year student and a reality TV star in 2008. The Cocoloco brand was based around combining quality entertainment in quality venues. After an
eventful four months preparation Cocoloco launched its first two events in the same week - Mondays at 2020 and Thursdays at Klute.
Over the short space of two years Cocoloco has expanded to up to 14 weekly events across the UK with over 250,000 customers to date. Cocoloco now boast a consortium of six full time event
specialists ranging from graduate interns to night club operators with years of direct experience.
The two year journey has been packed with ups and down and provided the perfect learning platform for the young team. Cocoloco have worked hard to defy the economic down turn increasing
turnover by 5 fold in 2009. As the business continues to grow we have outlined strategies that will see us become one of the UK’s largest promotion companies with a time frame of
the next five years.
